Attis Embaixador

Embaixador is a wine as singular as the vineyard from which it comes from. It’s a terroir wine. It perfectly expresses the peculiarities of the soil in which this vineyard is cultivated. Fermented in granite, thus enhancing the characteristics of the variety to the extreme. It is a diplomatic wine as its name indicates, serious, complex, voluminous without losing the freshness expected in a white. Ideal for white meats, game birds and just to enjoy.

Denomination of Origin: Rías Baixas.
Subzone: Val do Salnés.
Wine’s category: Dry White Wine aged on fine lees.
Grape variety: 100 % Albariño.
Limited production: 2.400 bottles.

VINEYARD

Single Vineyard “Embaixador” de 0,5 Ha with 60 years old.
Vine arbour (pergolas) with 800 vines/ha.
Soils of granitic Entisoles of sandy – clayey character (more clayey).
Yield: 5.000 Kg/ha.
Vineyard in organic farming (no certification).

WINEMAKING

Hand harvest picking in boxes perforated.
Selection of grapes.
Complete destemming and compress air press.
Debourbage with cold temperature.
Natural alcoholic fermentation with control of temperature (12-15ºC).
Ageing on fine lees in steel tank for 2 years with “batonnage”.
Fining with isinglass.
Tangential filtration.

WINE TASTING

A very complex and elegant wine, on the nose and on the palate. Great acidity, rich and long with a bouquet of powerful aromas.
Long potential for ageing.
